Sophie has been practicing yoga since 2004, and has studied various styles, including: Ashtanga, Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yanumoja. Her teaching and personal philosophy is influenced by her experiences and interest in social justice. Yoga is a practice that ebbs and flows just as life does. She offers an open space where all can feel comfortable to practice and learn. Her teaching style is relaxed, welcoming, and open-minded, and for all skill levels. Her teaching style is true to her personality; it’s nutty, it’s funny, and it comes with tonnes of energy. She’s responsive to the group, and uses clear language to teach postures and techniques that are meaningful and useful to students in their lives.
