Eighteen-year-old Morgan, a Comox Valley resident, started taking photos with a smart phone when he was 12 and fell in love with it. He was drawn to photography as a creative outlet, and his interest increased as he grew older and began to purchase different cameras and lenses to expand his ability to capture images.
Travelling from an early age has fortified Morgan’s ambitions to explore more places and document their beauty. His list expands daily; however, a trip to Iceland, with its spectacular landscapes, remains in first place. His guiding principles continue to be composition, light, patience, mood, and time.
Morgan credits his mum as his driving inspiration and thanks her for “dragging me into nature at any opportunity and showing me leaves and sticks! I owe her everything for my creativity!
